The managers are here to help you have an enjoyable stay. They have information about Sanderson and West Texas available to them. Feel free to ask questions. We have local Visitors Guides and maps along with info on Big Bend to help you.
Our fax number is 432-345-2712. If you need to receive faxes please feel free to use that number. We don't charge for sending or receiving a fax if you only have just a few pages, but if you have a lot of pages we have a minimal charge. At most usually a dollar or two will cover it.
When our staff goes into each room to clean, we often find items left behind. They are immediately bagged and stored in our lost and found box. If we don't hear from you, we dispose of any items either by tossing them or donating them to charity after about 30 days. If you do call, we can ship them to you via US mail. The charge depends on the item.
We do allow pets. We like friendly dogs. They need to have a kennel if they are left in the room unattended. If no kennel is available you need to take them with you whenever you leave your room. Sanderson does have a leash law. Please lead them
to the east vacant lot to do their duty. There is an added fee for pets.
We have free wireless internet available and it works well in most rooms. You will need to type in the security code.
We have a housekeeper not a maid. She will do her best to see that your trash is emptied daily and your bed is straightened up. If you need towels they will be provided, and any other amenity that we can provide. For our guests that are staying more than a week we will change sheets weekly.
We do have 'do not disturb' signs on the door knob, but we reserve the right to inspect your room.
NO COOKING in the rooms.
We provide nice bath towels for our guests; they are NOT to be used at the local swimming pool or as kitchen towels for food spills or makeup. Just ask and we have clean older towels to use as rags. Since we are in the desert and try to conserve our natural resources we would ask you to please reuse your towels. Hang your towel up if you intend to reuse them. When you need clean ones please put them on the bathroom floor. Housekeeping will provide clean towels as needed.
For all emergencies, let the managers know what has happened. They can help. In
emergencies like fire, the first thing you should do is leave the room. The first call should be 911. Use your cell phone. If you don't have a cell phone run to the office and tell the managers so they can call. There is a night bell on the left of the front door. Don't try to 'do' more. We want you to be able to
come back to see us.
